Hellenic Navy gunboat “Nikiforos” to visit Kalymnos for the Dodecanese Union anniversary
As part of the celebrations marking March 7, the Municipality of Kalymnos announced that the Hellenic Navy vessel Gunboat “Nikiforos” will be moored at the outer pier of the island’s port, honoring the 78th anniversary of the Dodecanese Islands’ union with Greece.
During its stay in Kalymnos, residents and visitors will have the opportunity to visit the naval vessel and learn more about the Hellenic Navy.
Public visits will take place on Saturday, March 7, during the following hours:
- 12:00 – 14:00
- 17:00 – 18:30
The Municipality of Kalymnos invites citizens to take advantage of this opportunity to visit the ship while commemorating this important historical anniversary for the Dodecanese and Greece.
The visit is part of the commemorative events organized to honor the historic date of March 7, which marks the incorporation of the Dodecanese Islands into Greece.
