The Day’s Oration was delivered by Dr. Konstantinos Tassa, in his capacity as the son of the late war hero Georgios Tassa, the last surviving member of the crew of the legendary Destroyer “ADRIAS” (L-67).
Following the address, a wreath-laying ceremony took place at the Monument of the Fallen.
Honors during the laying of wreaths were rendered by a detachment of the 5/42 Infantry Regiment “Delvinaki” and the Philharmonic Band of the Municipality of Kalymnos.
