Invitation to Kalymnian Producers to Participate in the South Aegean Region Pavilion at FOODEXPO GREECE 2026
The Municipality of Kalymnos supports the initiative of the South Aegean Region to participate in the International Food and Beverage Exhibition Food Expo Greece 2026, which will take place from 14 to 16 March 2026 at the Athens Metropolitan Expo, in Spata, Attica, and invites local producers of the island to express their interest in participating.
The participation of the South Aegean Region in this major international exhibition is part of its policy to showcase, promote and support local products, aiming to strengthen the commercial links of food and beverage producers of the South Aegean with both the Greek and international markets.
Within this framework, the Municipality of Kalymnos invites Kalymnian producers who process and/or package local agricultural products—such as honey, wine, olive oil, preserved fish products, traditional rusks and baked goods, dairy and cheese products, spoon sweets and jams, as well as various derivatives of local agricultural produce—using local raw materials, to express their interest in being represented at the pavilion to be leased by the South Aegean Region.
Participating producers will have the opportunity to hold Business-to-Business (B2B) meetings with Greek and international buyers, a prospect that may lead to significant commercial benefits and new partnerships.
For further information, interested parties may contact the offices of the Municipality of Kalymnos or the official responsible for the Exhibition, Deputy Mayor Kalliopi Koutouzi.
The Municipality of Kalymnos strongly encourages local producers to take advantage of this opportunity, contributing to the promotion of Kalymnian products and to the strengthening of the island’s primary sector.
