Kalymnos hosts the 9th “MOUSIKOS” – South Aegean Music Festival with music from world cinema and Greek film
Kalymnos is actively participating in the 9th MOUSIKOS – South Aegean Music Festival, a cultural institution that travels across 10 islands from September 11 to October 3, 2025, offering free concerts and educational programs.
The main concert in Kalymnos will take place on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at 20:30 at the Open Theater of Chora Kalymnos, titled:
“Music from World and Greek Cinema”
A concert by the Woodwind Quintet of the Athens State Orchestra,
featuring soprano Vasia Zacharopoulou and baritone Spyros Kleissas.
In parallel, educational activities for local students will be held on September 22, 23, and 24, in collaboration with the musicians of the Woodwind Quintet.
The festival is artistically coordinated by Nikos Chaliassas and is supported by the Region of South Aegean, in collaboration with numerous local and national institutions.
