Kastellorizo hosted the 2nd International Conference “Smart Islands 2025” on September 20–21, co-organized by the International Hellenic Association (IHA) and the municipalities of Megisti, Vari-Voula-Vouliagmeni, Kalymnos, and Kifisia.
The conference focused on key challenges facing small islands, including energy, water, health, education, digital transformation, and accessibility, aiming to foster dialogue and propose sustainable solutions.
Held under the auspices of the Central Union of Greek Municipalities (KEDE), it brings together representatives from local government, politics, academia, and the market to share knowledge and experiences, developing innovative practices for resilient island communities.
