The Municipality of Kalymnos is taking steps to assist local contractors in obtaining contractor licenses, enabling them to undertake small-scale municipal projects.
According to municipal officials, the initiative aims to strengthen the local economy and make better use of Kalymnos’ workforce by allowing local professionals to execute minor public works without the need to assign them to external contractors.
At the same time, the initiative is expected to contribute to faster implementation of technical projects, cost efficiency, and the creation of new professional opportunities within the island’s construction sector.
