The President of the Athens Medical Association, George Patoulis, referred to the important meeting held on the island of Tinos on June 15, marking World Fertility Day, focused on the critical issues of infertility and declining birth rates.
The Medical Association of the Kalymnos Region (ISEK) was represented at the event by its President, Dr. G. Apostolatos, who co-signed a joint declaration with other medical associations across Greece, committing to initiatives aimed at addressing infertility and demographic challenges.
A follow-up meeting on the same issues is scheduled to take place on July 4–5, 2025, on the island of Lemnos, in Agios Efstratios.
