In a strong parliamentary speech, PASOK MP for the Dodecanese, Giorgos Nikitiadis, criticized the government for its inconsistency and lack of coordination regarding the creation of a Technical Labor Inspection Office in Rhodes. He described the situation as a “coordinated chaos,” emphasizing that despite public commitments from both the Deputy Minister and the head of SEPE (Labor Inspectorate), no progress has been made.
He cited previous official statements proving that such an office was promised and is urgently needed, especially during the high tourist season. Mr. Nikitiadis announced he is scheduling a direct meeting with SEPE’s Director to demand immediate action.
He concluded with a clear message:
“I will not abandon this effort — I will persist until the government is forced to establish the Labor Inspection Office in Rhodes.”
