The Metropolitan described Pentecost as one of the greatest feasts of Orthodoxy, commemorating the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles and the birth of the Christian Church.
He stressed that the message of Pentecost remains timeless and especially relevant in today’s world, marked by uncertainty, social challenges, and spiritual confusion. According to Metropolitan Paisios, the Holy Spirit offers strength, love, and hope to humanity, encouraging people to live with faith, humility, and solidarity.
