Each year, on the feast day of Archangel Michael, the people of Kalymnos make their traditional pilgrimage to the Monastery of Panormitis on the island of Symi. This deeply rooted religious and cultural tradition unites the two islands of the South Aegean through faith and devotion.
Traveling by boats and small vessels, the pilgrims arrive at the picturesque harbor of Panormitis to light a candle, pray, and pay homage to the Archangel, seeking his protection and blessings.
