Pole Vault – Boys U16: Top 10 All-Time Aegean Performers (up to 31/12/2024)
The pole vault event in the Boys U16 category has highlighted some of the most talented athletes across the Aegean islands. At the top stands Michalis Pastos from ALKAIOS Mytilene, holder of the Aegean Record with a jump of 4.60m, achieved on July 22, 2001, under coach Grigorios Kondos.
Rhodes has long dominated the event, with athletes from AGES Kameiros regularly populating the Top 10 All-Time Aegean List, confirming the island’s pole vault supremacy.
From Kalymnos, Giorgos Trikoilis (Kezos), competing with AGES Kameiros, is ranked 14th all-time and proudly holds the Pole Vault Record for the Kalymnos region, making a notable contribution to the island’s athletic history.
