Professionals of the central square contacted Kalymnos Times to convey through our online newspaper some requests to the relevant authorities.
The first issue concerns the parking of two-wheeled vehicles at the monument. These vehicles obstruct our visitors when they wish to take photos there, resulting in people asking passersby to move the bikes.
The second issue is that the ramp for people with disabilities (PWD) lacks visible signage and is not clearly marked, so it often goes unnoticed. As a result, drivers don’t leave space for PWDs to pass through.
We hope both issues will be addressed soon.
