The Deputy Minister of National Defense, Mr. Ioannis Kefalogiannis announced his decision to place medical practitioners for the coverage of vacant medical positions in rural clinics of border islands, among these islands is the island of Pserimos.
I warmly thank Mr. Kefalogiannis for this decision, which comes as an immediate response to an urgent need, as expressed during my recent visit to his office, along with Member of Parliament for the Dodecanese, Mr. Konsolas.
Today, I spoke with the soldier medic, by phone and welcomed him, conveying the intention of the South Aegean Region and the Prefecture to assist in whatever is needed.
We wish him a pleasant stay and success in his new duties.
