This morning, the Mayor of Kalymnos, Ioannis Mastrokoukos, visited the site where the new playground will be installed at the fish auction area to mark the beginning of the construction works.
According to the Port Fund president, Anastasios Trikilis, the site will be handed over to the company, as the previous installation, which had been damaged due to neglect, has already been removed, as seen in the photos.
The new playground is being sponsored by the shipping company Minerva, owned by Mr. Andreas Martinos. The project is expected to be completed during the summer.
