SYRIZA MPs Raise Concern Over Uncontrolled Presence of Turkish Fishing Boats in the Aegean
SYRIZA-PS MPs Alexandros Meikopoulos and Rena Dourou submitted a strong parliamentary question regarding the repeated unauthorized entry of Turkish fishing vessels into Greek territorial waters. At least 30 boats were reported operating for days near the Cyclades and Kythira, without adequate response from Greek authorities. The MPs demand immediate action, warning that such incidents challenge Greek sovereignty and violate both national and EU fishing laws.
