Kalymnos Climbing Festival 2025: The Global Climbing Gathering Begins

The Kalymnos Climbing Festival 2025 officially kicks off, once again turning the island into the global hub of the climbing community.
From 8:00 in the morning on Wednesday, October 15, climbers from all over the world will start to arrive at Elena Village Hotel, the festival’s base camp, to register. The registration area remains active until 5:00 PM, buzzing with energy and international excitement.
A Full Start on Thursday
Thursday, October 16 begins with continued registrations, but the real adventure starts at 10:00 AM with a mountain walk, sponsored by Kalymnos Experience, allowing participants to explore the island’s raw natural beauty.
In the evening, the official opening ceremony will be held at 8:00 PM at Elena Village. That is followed at 8:30 PM by an audiovisual presentation from Italian climber Silvia Loreggian, who will captivate the audience with stories and visuals from her climbing journey. The night concluded with a DJ welcome party at 9:00 PM, bringing everyone together in celebration.
