KALYMNOS, Greece – A special two-day spiritual event for the women of Kalymnos will be held under the blessing of the Metropolitan of Kalymnos and organized by the Orthodox Missionary Association “Saint Basil the Great”.
The events will take place at the Saint Paul Youth Center in Flaska and will feature two presentations delivered by female catechists of the association, focusing on themes drawn from Orthodox Christian spirituality.
The first lecture, titled “The Cross in the Lives of the Saints,” will be held on Friday, June 5, at 7:00 p.m. The second presentation, “The Hymn of Love – The Most Beautiful Hymn,” is scheduled for Saturday, June 6, at 10:30 a.m.
To facilitate participation, a parallel childcare and educational program will be offered for the children of attendees. Qualified educators will supervise activities including storytelling, games, and creative engagement in the outdoor area of Saint Paul.
Organizers have extended an open invitation to all women of Kalymnos, encouraging them to attend this initiative aimed at fostering spiritual growth, reflection, fellowship, and a deeper understanding of Christian values.
