Kalymnos Hospital Participates in World Bone Marrow Donation Day Event
On the occasion of World Bone Marrow Donation Day, Kalymnos Hospital took part in the event organized by the Kalymnos Volunteer Blood Donors Association.
During the event, informative presentations were held regarding the benefits and procedures for the collection and storage of umbilical cord blood.
It is noteworthy that, since May 2025, Kalymnos Hospital has initiated the collection of umbilical cord blood, with the option of storage provided by the Academy of Athens for those interested.
