On Friday, October 3, 2025, the Mayor of Kalymnos, Giannis Mastrokoukos, met with a team of engineers from Professor Efthymis Lekkas’ office and municipal officials to address the issue of dangerous rock formations in various areas of Kalymnos.
The meeting was followed by on-site inspections of newly reported locations, responding to residents’ concerns. The aim is to update and expand the risk assessment and promptly implement necessary safety measures. The municipality prioritizes public safety and is committed to working methodically with experts to ensure citizen protection.
