Aegean Islands’ Top Long Jump Records – U23 Women Rankings
Historic long jump performances by under-23 women from the Aegean Islands showcase exceptional talent, with Rhodes, Naxos, and Kos standing out.
- 1st – Rhodes: Niki Xanthou (GAS Ygeia Rhodes) achieved a 6.94m jump on 23/07/1995 in Patras, becoming Greek Champion (Women & U23). This performance stood as the national U23 and Women’s record until 31/12/2021.
- 2nd – Naxos: Vasiliki Koutsoumpou (Pannaxiakos) recorded 6.10m on 28/05/2016 at the Papaflessia meeting, ranking as the 2nd best performance in Greece for U23 in 2016.
- 3rd – Kos: Archontia Chatzilaou (Lybikos Ierapetra) jumped 5.95m on 25/06/2006 in Argos, earning 3rd place at the U23 Greek National Championships.
- 6th- Kalymnos: Marianna Karavokyrou (Kalymnos 2000, coached by Xenofon Koutellas) reached 5.82m on 09/07/2011 in Larissa, placing 2nd at the U20 Greek National Championships.
