ANE Kalymnou has secured funding for its passenger and vehicle ferry “Nissos Kalymnos,” which will serve two maritime ferry routes, according to a decision by the Minister of Shipping and Island Policy, Vasilis Kikilias. Specifically, the vessel was included in the subsidized routes program and will operate the following itineraries:
– Rhodes – Symi – Tilos – Nisyros – Kos – Astypalaia – Kalymnos and return,
– Kalymnos – Pserimos – Kos – Astypalaia and return.
ANE Kalymnou’s total revenue from these two routes amounts to €1,664,080 for a 22-week service period. Specifically, the company will receive €1,208,504 for the first route and €455,576 for the second.
