According to a statement from the Kalymnos Regional Unit Office, the Register of Vehicle and Construction Machinery Owners was activated the previous evening to support essential interventions and speed up restoration work.
From the early morning hours, a team from the office has been inspecting the regional road network, recording problems and assessing conditions to identify locations requiring immediate attention.
The statement identifies public safety, the swift repair of damage and the restoration of normal conditions in affected areas as the Region’s priorities.
The announcement was signed by Emmanouil G. Mousellis, Coordinator of the Kalymnos Regional Unit.
