Athens State Orchestra in Kalymnos – Educational Events & Concert (September 22–24, 2025)
From Monday, September 22nd to Wednesday, September 24th, 2025, the Athens State Orchestra will be in Kalymnos, with the collaboration and support of the Municipality of Kalymnos, as part of the 9th South Aegean Festival “MousiKos”.
On this occasion, educational activities will be held in primary schools according to the following schedule:
Monday, 22/09/2025 – Event Hall of the 1st Primary School of Chora
- 1st Presentation (09:00–10:00): Panormos Primary School, Argos Primary School, Telendos Primary School
- 2nd Presentation (10:00–11:00): 1st Primary School of Chora, 2nd Primary School of Chora
Tuesday, 23/09/2025 – Event Hall of the 3rd Primary School of the Town
- 1st Presentation (09:00–10:00): 5th Primary School, 6th Primary School
- 2nd Presentation (10:00–11:00): 3rd Primary School, Special Education Primary School
Wednesday, 24/09/2025 – Event Hall of the 2nd Primary School of the Town
- 1st Presentation (09:00–10:00): 1st Primary School of the Town, Vathis Primary School
- 2nd Presentation (10:00–11:00): 2nd Primary School of the Town
Evening Concert – Wednesday, 24/09/2025 at 20:30
A concert by the Woodwind Quintet of the Athens State Orchestra will take place at the Open-Air Theater of Chora, featuring soprano Vassia Zacharopoulou and baritone Spyros Kleissas.
