PROGRAM “ADDRESSING LOW BIRTH RATES – MATERIAL SUPPORT FOR NEWBORNS (BABY KITS)”
The charitable organization of the Holy Archdiocese of Athens, APOSTOLI, within the framework of its social mission, in cooperation with and funded by EUROBANK and the Municipality of Kalymnos, is inviting applications for the provision of Material Support – Baby Kits to families, aiming to support newborn infants.
The program is addressed exclusively to residents of the Municipality of Kalymnos.
Interested pregnant women who meet the criteria may submit their application to the Municipality no later than February 27, 2026.
1. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR PREGNANT APPLICANTS
Income Criteria:
Annual family income must not exceed:
- 1 member: up to €24,000
- 2 members: up to €25,500
- 3 members: up to €27,000
- 4 members: up to €28,500
- 5 members: up to €30,000
- 6 members: up to €31,500
Priority will be given to:
A) Families with multiple minor children
B) Families with members certified as severely disabled (80% disability or higher)
C) Single-parent families with minor children (with official custody documentation)
D) Families where both parents are unemployed and have minor children
2. REQUIRED SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS
Applicants must submit:
A. Completed and signed application form (provided by the Municipality)
B. Copy of ID card or passport
C. Tax clearance statement for Fiscal Year 2024 (of the applicant and spouse, if separate tax returns are filed)
D. Recent Family Status Certificate
E. Medical certificate from a gynecologist confirming pregnancy (with signed consent for personal data processing; twin pregnancies must be clearly stated)
F. Proof of residence (utility bill, valid rental agreement, or official tax declaration of lease)
G. Recent Unemployment Certificate from the Public Employment Service (if applicable)
H. Valid Disability Certificate (KEPA) for spouse or minor child (only for disability of 80% or higher, with relevant consent for data processing)
I. Signed consent forms for disability certificates (as required by law)
J. Signed consent form for the gynecologist’s medical certificate
Please note that without the required medical certificate, the application cannot be evaluated.
The information notice regarding the processing of personal data is available on the website www.mkoapostoli.com and at the Municipality of Kalymnos. Applicants submitting personal data of third parties (spouse, children, dependents, etc.) are responsible for informing them accordingly.
