Cheesefare Sunday & Forgiveness Vespers February 22, 2026
The Holy Metropolis announces, according to the published program, that on the morning of Cheesefare Sunday, His Eminence Metropolitan Paisios will officiate at the Holy Church of the Holy Trinity in Pothia.
In the afternoon of the same day, following the traditional dance custom held in the courtyard of the Holy Cathedral of Panagia Kecharitomeni in Chora, and at approximately 5:00 p.m., the Vespers of Forgiveness will be celebrated, presided over by His Eminence our Metropolitan.
