Dear women and men of Kalymnos, wherever you may be around the world,
The Birth of the God-Man, which we celebrate in just a few days, brings each year the timeless message of hope, love and renewal. Christmas reminds us that even in the most demanding circumstances, there is always room for faith, optimism and a better tomorrow.
For our Kalymnos, the light of Christmas gives rise to new hopes and strengthens the effort we make every day as a Municipal Authority to cultivate a climate of optimism, perspective and creativity in our place. With consistency, cooperation and faith in the potential of our local community, the entire Municipal Authority is striving for a Kalymnos that moves forward, supports its people and offers opportunities to the younger generations.
Especially during these holy days, our thoughts are with our compatriots abroad, who keep alive their love and bond with the homeland, as well as with our seafarers who are far from their loved ones, sailing the seas of the world.
