It is with deep sorrow that we were informed of the passing of Thanasis Kotakis, former Director of the Neurology Clinic at the General Hospital of Leros, at the age of 75.
Thanasis Kotakis was a distinguished scientist, a devoted family man, and above all, a true human being. He fought his serious illness with courage and dignity, an illness that eventually took him from us.
We wish to express our heartfelt condolences to his wife Katerina, his son Giorgos, and his brother, the Mayor of Leros, Mr. Timotheos Kotakis.
