The Mayor of Kalymnos extended his heartfelt congratulations to the newly elected Board of Directors of the KDAP for People with Disabilities “Agios Panteleimon,” led by President Katerina Vardaouli. Honoring the late founder and visionary, Philippos Olympitis, who pioneered the acceptance of disability in the Kalymnian society, the Municipal Authority proposed—unanimously approved by the Municipal Council—the renaming of the local Support Center for People with Disabilities to “PHILIPPOS M. OLYMPITIS”. The municipality expressed its full support for the Board’s important mission.
