The Municipality of Kalymnos, in cooperation with the South Aegean Waste Management Authority (FODSA), informs residents that on Friday, December 12, from 09:00 to 18:00, the distribution of mechanical composters and garden composters will take place at the Fountain area in front of the Municipal Hall.
The Mechanical Composter measures 40×60, while the Garden Composter (distributed disassembled) measures 15×80×60. Both types can be transported in a private vehicle.
Residents who have not previously submitted an application but wish to obtain a composter may do so by completing the required application on-site during the distribution.
To complete the procedure, the following documents are required:
- Police ID
- Tax Identification Number (AFM)
- A valid email address for registration and confirmation
The Municipality of Kalymnos and FODSA South Aegean encourage residents to take advantage of this program, contributing to the reduction of organic waste, the promotion of circular economy practices, and the protection of the local environment.
