Dodecanese MP Manos Konsolas has called for an extension of the deadline for the purchase of state-owned properties in the Dodecanese, currently set to expire at the end of October. In a parliamentary intervention, he stressed that citizens face difficulties gathering the necessary documents due to problems with the land registry and understaffed services.
Law 5024/2023 provided a permanent solution to the ownership status of such properties, while also generating significant revenue for the state. Konsolas, who first raised the issue back in 2018, is now requesting additional time to facilitate citizens in completing the process.
