A public regular mixed meeting of the Municipal Council was held in the meeting room of the Municipal Hall, both in person and via teleconference, on February 21, 2025 (Friday) at 18:30, to make decisions on the agenda items.
Agenda Items & Decisions:
- Approval of the 1st mandatory budget and technical program revision of the Municipality of Kalymnos for the fiscal year 2025.
Approved (Council factions of G. Galouzis and G. Mavros voted present). - Approval of the 1st mandatory budget and technical program revision of the Kalymnos Municipal Port Fund for the fiscal year 2025.
Approved (Council factions of G. Galouzis, G. Mavros, and D. Diakomichalis voted present). According to the President of the Port Fund, A. Trikoilis, a significant part of the revision concerns the payment of VAT due since November 2014. - 3. Approval of the 1st mandatory revision of the Integrated Action Framework of the Municipality of Kalymnos for the fiscal year 2025.
Approved (Council factions of G. Galouzis and G. Mavros voted present. The faction of D. Diakomichalis did not vote in favor). - 4. Examination of the feasibility of property acquisition.
Unanimously approved to examine the purchase of a 700 sq.m. plot in the Parish of St. Athanasios following a request from parishioners. - 5. Decision on depositing the fixed advance payment amount of the Municipality of Kalymnos for the fiscal year 2025 into the Municipality’s special-purpose bank account at Piraeus Bank, appointing an employee responsible for managing the account with web banking access for fund transfers and online payments.
Unanimously approved; Mr. Stergiou was appointed - 6. Decision on reducing the rent for a school canteen.
Unanimously approved a 20% reduction in the rent for the canteen of the 3rd Gymnasium (Junior High School).
