During the fire prevention season, from May 1, 2025, until October 31, 2025, the use of fire in the countryside is strictly prohibited by any means.
This is by Fire Regulation No. 19/2024 titled: “Procedure for the imposition of administrative fines for violations of fire protection legislation regulations”, as amended and currently in force. It also aligns with Fire Regulation No. 9/2024 titled: “Determination of measures and means for the prevention and avoidance of fire outbreaks in forests, forested areas, grasslands, rural lands, city parks and groves, residential zones, protected areas, other spaces near such lands, as well as plots of land.”
