Pserimos and the Health of Its Residents: A Non-Negotiable Commitment of the Municipal Authority
Led by Mayor Giannis Mastrokoukos, a team from the Municipal Authority — including the Deputy Mayor for Daily Operations, Vasilis Mousellis, and the President of “Polydrastiki S.A.,” Michalis Kampourakis — visited Pserimos on Tuesday, May 6, as part of the visit by the volunteer group “Symplefsi”.
Medical and microbiological examinations were carried out for all residents of the island, of all ages, in the facilities of the Regional Medical Clinic of Pserimos and the “NAMMOS” Hotel, owned by fellow local Giannis Chalikos. Residents gathered from early in the morning to be seen by the volunteers of the “Symplefsi” group, who are carrying out the 2025 Crossing to small and remote islands.
The Mayor and officials of the Municipal Authority arrived early on the island and coordinated the entire initiative in cooperation with the volunteer team, who were warmly received and provided outstanding medical services to the people of Pserimos.
