An Information Workshop on “Fishing Tourism: Prospects – Funding Opportunities” was held on Sunday, 30 November 2025, at 16:00, in the Kalymnos Chamber of Commerce Hall.
The Head of the Dodecanese Fisheries Department, Emmanouil Perrakis, delivered the main presentation via Zoom, explaining what fishing tourism is, the current state of fishing tourism in the Dodecanese, and the specific situation in Kalymnos.
An open discussion followed with the island’s fishermen, the presidents of the Dodecanese Fisheries Associations, former Mayor of Kalymnos Georgios A. Roussos, and speakers Christos Bardos, President of ANDO, Konstantinos Zifos, Director of ANDO, Christos Michalakis, President of the Association of Tourist Offices of the Dodecanese, and Secretary General of the Chamber of Commerce of the Dodecanese.
