According to a briefing from tne Hospital Director Pandelis Kogas, the Family Planning Unit of the Kalymnos General Hospital visited the Regional Clinic in Vathy, Kalymnos, offering free Pap tests to women who choose to take part in this cervical cancer prevention initiative.
This action aims at early detection and prevention through screening, supporting women’s health under the national cancer prevention program, which provides free preventive tests for cervical cancer to all eligible women aged 21–65. These services include the Pap test and, where necessary, further clinical assessment at no cost to participants.
