Kalymnos Medical Association member elected to the Supreme Disciplinary Council of the Hellenic Medical Association
The Provincial Medical Association of Kalymnos “Skevos Zervos” announced the election of the President of the Kalymnos Medical Association, Gerasimos Apostolatos, as a regular member to the Supreme Disciplinary Council of the Hellenic Medical Association (P.I.S.), according to an official press release.
As stated in the document, the election took place during the recent P.I.S. elections and is considered a recognition of the Association’s work at a national level.
The announcement also highlights that this development strengthens efforts to bring forward healthcare issues affecting island and remote regions, while supporting claims for improved and more dignified working conditions for doctors in both the public and private sectors.
