Dodecanese MP Ioannis Pappas has submitted a parliamentary intervention to the Ministry of Labour, urging the extension of favorable retirement provisions to fixed-term and permanent private-law employees (IDOX and IDAX) who care for people with severe disabilities. Pappas argues that current regulations create unequal treatment among workers facing the same family responsibilities and calls for legislative action to ensure equal rights and protection for all caregivers of persons with disabilities.
