New Aegean Record with 48.58m!
Kalliopi Meimari delivered an outstanding performance at the International “Venizelia – Chania” Athletics Meeting, achieving a remarkable new milestone in her career.
Coached by Anestis Kaltzidis, Meimari recorded an impressive throw of 48.58 metres, achieving:
- New Personal Best
- New 2026 Aegean Record in both the U23 and Women’s categories
- 1st place overall in the U23 category
- 3rd place among Greek women athletes
- 8th place overall in the international standings, behind five foreign and two Greek competitors
This exceptional performance highlights Meimari’s continuous progress and establishes her among the most promising athletes of her generation.
Her achievement in Chania marks another important step forward, with even greater goals now on the horizon.
