The opening ceremony of the Kalymnos International Climbing Festival took place at Elena Village Hotel in Armeos, on October 16th, 2025, at 20:30.
Welcoming speeches were delivered by the Mayor of Kalymnos, Ioannis Mastrokoukos, and the President of the Hellenic Federation of Mountaineering and Climbing (EOOA), Popi Dilaveraki.
The ceremony was followed by a presentation from renowned Italian alpinist Silvia Lorreggian.
