Meeting at Kalymnos Town Hall on Road Paving – Traffic Direction Change on Agios Vasileios Street
A meeting was held on Wednesday, October 15th, 2025, at the Kalymnos Town Hall with the participation of local authorities, focusing on preparations for the upcoming paving of the main commercial road, from the Metropolitan Church to the Taxi Station.
During the meeting, it was decided – among other things – that the planned change in the one-way direction of Agios Vasileios Street would be implemented earlier than originally scheduled. This measure aims to help drivers adapt more smoothly to the traffic regulations that will be put in place to facilitate the project’s execution.
According to the official announcement by the Municipality of Kalymnos, the change in traffic flow has already been implemented. Specifically, vehicles will now travel from the “Therma” area towards Agios Vasileios.
Drivers are urged to be especially cautious and to follow the new traffic rules in order to avoid disruptions and delays.
