The Municipality of Kalymnos was officially invited to a cultural music evening at the Austrian Embassy in Athens, represented by Deputy Mayor of Tourism & Public Relations, Mrs. Kalliopi Koutouzi-Vogelzang. As part of the “10th Austrian Greek Summer”, the Austrian Ambassador, Mrs. Gerda Vogl, expressed her admiration for Kalymnos, which is now included in the Embassy’s annual cultural program for 2025.
On August 10, 2025, Austrian musicians will perform on the island, with planned meetings to promote Kalymnos as a destination for the Austrian market — a valuable opportunity for international tourism growth.
