Metropolitan Paisios of Leros, Kalymnos and Astypalaia conducted the annual memorial service for the late priests of the Italian rule period today, Sunday, October 25, 2026, at the Church of the Presentation of the Lord in Kalymnos.
The service honoured the clergy who resisted the occupying authorities, defending their faith and homeland during a difficult chapter in the island’s history.
