Declaration of Kalymnos in Red Code (High Alert) Status Due to Flooding Conditions
The Municipality of Kalymnos announces that, according to the decision of the General Secretariat for Civil Protection, protocol number A5033/27-11-2025, the Regional Unit of Kalymnos is declared in a state of “RED CODE (HIGH ALERT)” due to severe weather conditions and increased flood risk.
The state of emergency is valid from 28 November to 29 November 2025, when the weather phenomena are expected to peak.
The Municipality of Kalymnos is closely monitoring developments and will provide continuous updates to the public.
