The Warriors of Kalymnos travel to Crete for the Panhellenic Kickboxing Championship
The Athletic Club Machites Kalymnou is once again ready to raise the island’s colors high at the Panhellenic Kickboxing Championship, taking place in Crete from December 4 to 7. With strength, confidence, and fighting spirit, the team sets off on a journey filled with expectation and determination.
Three athletes, three paths, one shared goal:
• Margaritis, competing in the Youth category, represents the next generation rising with energy and ambition.
• Zachariou, in the Men’s category, steps into the ring with experience, stability, and unwavering belief.
• Meris Georgios, the club’s coach and mentor, returns to the competitive arena himself in the Masters category — a powerful reminder that the flame of sport never fades.
At their side stands assistant coach Dimitrios Sdregas, supporting the effort with expertise, dedication, and steady, quiet strength.
The Warriors of Kalymnos travel to Crete not only to compete, but to prove that perseverance, unity, and integrity can turn every match into an achievement — and every step into an honor for the island.
