Kalymnos Municipal Council to convene on April 15 with 23 agenda items

The Municipal Council of Kalymnos will hold a regular public hybrid meeting on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at 14:00, at the Municipal Hall, allowing participation both in person and via teleconference.

The meeting will be conducted in accordance with the current legal framework and relevant circulars of the Ministry of Interior. Council members are required to declare their mode of participation by 12:00 on the same day.

A total of 23 items are included on the agenda, covering key financial, developmental, and administrative issues of the Municipality.

1. Approval of the 4th Quarter Budget Execution Report of the Municipality of Kalymnos for the fiscal year 2025.
2. Approval of the 1st mandatory revision of the budget and technical program of the Municipality of Kalymnos for the fiscal year 2026.
3. Approval of the 1st mandatory revision of the Integrated Action Framework (IAP) of the Municipality of Kalymnos for the fiscal year 2026.
4. Approval of the 1st mandatory revision of the budget, technical program, and Integrated Action Framework (IAP) of the Municipal Port Fund of Kalymnos for the fiscal year 2026.
5. Completion and continuous updating of the Municipality of Kalymnos’ proposals for the Local Urban Plan (LUP), within the framework of an open process incorporating views and new data.
6. Approval of the extension (4th) of the deadline for the project: “Improvement of Access, Creation and Maintenance of Climbing Routes on Kalymnos Island.”
7. Amendment and update of Municipal Council Decision No. 4/2026 regarding the “Approval of the new Internal Service Organization (ISO) of the Municipality of Kalymnos,” specifically:
   • Article 19 “Special Staff Positions,” replacing one (1) Lawyer position with one (1) Legal Advisor position,
   • Article 23 “Heads of Services,” adding a new branch/specialty to the qualifications required for selecting a Head of the Human Resources Department of the Directorate of Administrative Services.

1. Approval of Decision No. 27/2026 of the Board of Directors of DEYAK (Municipal Water and Sewerage Company of Kalymnos) concerning the adoption of its new Internal Service Organization (ISO).
2. Decision on depositing the amount of the Municipality’s fixed advance into a special-purpose bank account at Piraeus Bank, following the designation of a responsible employee with access to web banking for transfers and electronic payments.
3. Annual Action Program of the Municipality of Kalymnos for the year 2025 – Approval of implementation.
4. Annual Action Program of the Municipality of Kalymnos for the year 2026 – Approval of drafting and commencement of implementation.
5. Approval of amendments to the Regulation on the use of music and musical instruments in establishments of public health interest.
6. Approval of the report (Protocol No. 5389/09-03-2026) of the competent municipal committee regarding the destruction of items with no value (Article 199, para. 6 of Law 3463/2006).
7. Issuance of a declaratory act concerning municipal land properties in Vlychadia, Kalymnos (Property IDs: KAEK 100282506024 & KAEK 100282506011).
8. Decision on the temporary pedestrianization of a municipal road in the “Linaria” area of Kalymnos during the peak tourist season.
9. Decision on the temporary pedestrianization in the “Rina” area of Vathy, Kalymnos, during the peak tourist season.
10. Decision on the adjustment of a no-parking sign on a side municipal road of the central commercial street of Kalymnos.
11. Decision on the renewal of no-parking road markings and the installation of relevant signage at the taxi station (opposite the “Grigoris” store).
12. Allocation of space in the Municipal Market of Kalymnos for the sale of handmade tourist and folk art items by a local professional (application by Mr. Sakellarios Pilatos).
13. Approval to conduct a competitive bidding process for the lease of the canteen at the 1st Primary School of Kalymnos Town.
14. Determination of beneficiaries and compensation for members of the Municipal Council of Kalymnos for their participation in council meetings during the year 2026.
15. Determination of representation allowances for the President and Vice President of the Municipal Port Fund of Kalymnos, and compensation for participation in Board meetings for the year 2026.
16. Appointment of a municipal representative and deputy to participate as a member in the committee responsible for classifying beach areas of Kalymnos and Astypalaia as “busy” or “non-busy” for the year 2026.
