Katerina Giannatou’s Memory Honoured Through a Gift to Kalymnos Culture
The Kalymnos Theatre Group has bid an emotional farewell to Katerina Giannatou, while warmly thanking her family for choosing to honour her memory by supporting the group’s work in lieu of funeral wreaths and flowers.
Katerina Giannatou had offered valuable and longstanding support to the Kalymnos Theatre Group. As President of the Association of Kalymnians of Attica, she actively assisted its work and twice invited the group to Athens to stage its theatrical productions, making a significant contribution to the promotion of Kalymnos’ cultural creativity.
The Board of Directors and members of the Theatre Group described her family’s moving gesture as a great honour and a precious legacy that will always be remembered.
They also extended their heartfelt and sincere condolences to her daughters, Sofia and Savina Giannatou, as well as to all her relatives and loved ones.
