Deeply Moved Manolis Koutouzis Honoured by the Lyceum Club of Greek Women in Kalymnos
Professor Emmanouil (Manolis) Koutouzis, Rector of the Hellenic Open University, was visibly moved as he received an honorary distinction during a special event held in his honour by the Kalymnos branch of the Lyceum Club of Greek Women.
The ceremony took place at the island’s History and Culture Centre as part of the celebrations marking 50 years since the establishment of the Kalymnos branch.
The presentation was an emotionally charged moment, with Manolis Koutouzis deeply touched by the recognition bestowed upon him by the island’s historic cultural association.
The event celebrated the achievements of a Kalymnian academic who currently holds the senior position of Rector of the Hellenic Open University, while also marking an important milestone in the golden-jubilee celebrations of the Lyceum Club of Greek Women in Kalymnos.
