Maintenance and Restoration Works at the 2nd Primary School of Kalymnos Town
For the first time, a campaign for the maintenance and restoration of the island’s school buildings is underway, in line with the announcements of Mayor Yiannis Mastrokoukos and the planning of the Municipal Authority.
Alongside works at other school complexes, crews are currently working at the historic building that houses the 2nd Primary School of Kalymnos Town.
The works are in full progress and include the repair of all damages, while interior painting has already begun in the areas where repairs have been completed.
Maintenance of the toilets has already been completed, plumbing installations have been serviced and repaired, and painting is ongoing to ensure they meet hygiene standards for children and teachers.
The school will be ready for the new academic year, welcoming students into a civilized and, above all, safe environment, ensuring the educational process can begin smoothly and without obstacles.
