The implementation of temporary measures and traffic regulations along the Port of Kalymnos land zone has been decided to ensure the smooth conduct of the wreath-laying ceremony for the fallen at the monument during the Imia crisis.
Specifically:
On January 26, 2025, from 08:30 until the ceremony concludes, parking and stopping will be prohibited along the Land Zone of the Port of Kalymnos, from the Port Authority building to the Municipal Tourism Office building, in memory of those who fell during the Imia crisis.
Additionally, vehicle traffic will be suspended from 10:00 until the end of the ceremony.
Regardless of any criminal or other responsibilities under the applicable laws, violators of this decision will be subject to the penalties outlined in Article 157 of Legislative Decree 187/1973 (Government Gazette A’261), as amended and currently in effect.
