A public, regular mixed meeting of the Municipal Council will be held in the meeting hall of the City Hall, both in person and via teleconference, on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at 18:30, to make decisions on the following agenda items:
- Changes to Secondary Vocational Education schools for the 2025-2026 academic year.
- Free concession of the upper floor of the Cultural Center to the Kalymnos Reading Room “AI MOUSAI.”
- Review of a request to purchase property in Vathy, Kalymnos, owned by Poullas Skevos.
- Approval of leasing the commissary of the 2nd Primary School of Kalymnos Town.
- Approval of leasing a kiosk location in Chora, Kalymnos.
- Review of a request for free use of a municipal property to provide temporary shelter for a homeless individual.
- Marking and installation of a no-parking sign on a municipal side road adjacent to the main commercial street of Kalymnos.
- Implementation of an olive fruit fly control program in the Municipality of Kalymnos for 2025.
- Amendment of the Regulations for the Operation of Sports Facilities regarding Article 4:
“DAYS AND HOURS OF OPERATION OF SPORTS FACILITIES.” - Formation of Committees for the Monitoring and Receipt of Supplies & Services for the operational needs of the Municipality of Kalymnos for 2025.
- Formation of an appraisal committee for the sale, lease, rental, or purchase of items (movable or immovable) for the Municipality in 2025 (Article 7 of Presidential Decree 270/81).
- Determination of the maximum allowable monthly mobile phone usage limit for elected officials of the Municipality for 2025.
- Decision on the designation of Budget Expense Codes for the Municipality’s financial year 2025 as eligible for issuing advance payment orders.
